I came across this news article about a giant reptile skeleton found in Colombia a couple of years ago. Now this snake, a.k.a “Titanoboa” was seemingly around 42 feet long (same size as a bus) and lived around 80 million years ago. It was said to be a vicious predator that could take down pretty much anything, but presumably became extinct well after the dinosaurs.
Then I came across this picture:
Please bear in mind the picture of the unknown in the river is supposed to be of the AMAZON river. Can we assume this picture is Photoshopped? Or are some people right in saying that this shows a rare Amazonian Anaconda that is larger than known?
